Jennifer - yes, it will be somewhere near BYU Bookstore as they organize the book signings. Probably in the main building outside their doors. Hope that helps. Be sure to tell me who you are if you can visit.

Anne,

It was so great to meet you in person at the LDS Storymaker's conference. Thank you for all your efforts, along with all the others who worked so hard, to make that conference a great success. I really appreciate it. Thanks for all you do to inspire the rest of us wannabe writers!

I was born in Wales, grew up in England, and now live in Utah. I have three published novels: "Terracotta Summer," its sequel, "Chamomile Winter," and "Please, No Zits! & Other Short Stories for LDS Youth." My new book, in stores autumn 2009, is "Famous Family Nights" and includes entries from 90 LDS writers; LDS radio, TV, and other artists of every kind; and well-known LDS leaders in sports, business, and the community across the world.

There is a Facebook Group called Famous Family Nights at http://www.facebook.com/people/#/group.php?gid=79183136588 and all are welcome to join. It's the place for publication updates, and for interaction with some of the writers in this family home evening book.

I'm a 200% supporter of family home evening and what it can do for us all. One of my published books ("Please, No Zits! & Other Short Stories for LDS Youth") was written with teen FHEs in mind. Non-preachy, entertaining stories that make for great family discussions. (Discount price on my website at http://www.annebradshaw.com)

A feature screenplay I co-authored with Jeanne McKinney ("The Ardanea Pendant"), recently won first place (fantasy/sci-fi genre) in the International Family Film Festival. I also co-authored "Season of Fire," "Writing Secrets," and "Publishing Secrets," and have written countless magazine and internet articles.

Spotlight on "Forged in the Refiner's Fire" by Candace E. Salima

Why do bad things happen? Is there a purpose when we face a bad trial? As mortals, we can be compared to ore, such as gold and silver. Ore that is unrefined is generally impure and undesirable. Only ore that is crushed -- and then refined by fire -- becomes beautiful, pure, precious and valuable. This book was written to help you see the results of the Ultimate Refiner, the Lord, in your own life.

Within these pages, people from all walks of life share their stories of triumph over tragedy. More importantly, they reveal how they were strengthened as they passed through the Refiner's fire. They became more precious, and so can you. Look for the experiences of vocalist Merrill Osmond, LDS writers Shirley Bahlmann, Elizabeth Cheever, Willard Boyd Gardner, Tristi Pinkston, and Candace E. Salima, renowned columnist Muriel Sluyter and several people across the nation who are ranchers, housewives, writers in the national market and more.

Candace E. Salima partnered with Elizabeth Cheever to co-author this book. They feel very privileged to have been the ones to bring this story to the world.
